First Students

MDWK is our Wednesday Student Ministry time and is meant to help students (Grades 7-12) understand the basics of faith while also getting a nice midweek break! Games, hanging out & visiting, worship, Bible study, questions and discussion time all find their place in MDWK. The goal is to make the Bible and the Christian life principles taught in its pages relevant to the issues students are currently facing, giving them practical tools to help them make good life decisions while also practicing fellowship with others.

We will meet from 6:00pm-7:30 pm in our Student Area on the third floor on Wednesdays during the school year.

On Sunday evenings our goal is for students to experience intentional, deeper spiritual growth where we will walk hand-in-hand with Jesus and other believers. These groups are designed to dig much deeper than Wednesday nights. To help with this, each student will be given a book that will have things for them to work on throughout the week. These will help grow our wisdom, knowledge, and our faith. Then we will gather on Sundays for response-oriented discussion and learn how to apply the principles we have studied to our daily lives. The goal is to engage in spiritual conversations to share what we have learned and to learn from one another as we walk through life with other believers. Groups will still be divided by gender, so our discussions can remain open, candid, and safe places to share regardless of what is going on in your life.

We meet from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Sunday evenings throughout the school year and on available Sundays in the summer.
