During the Advent season, Christians worldwide prepare to celebrate the coming of God into our world through the birth of His
Son, Jesus Christ.
Family Advents Kits can be picked up at the front of the Worship Center beginning November 9.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and Week of Prayer

The Lottie Moon week of prayer emphasis for our global missionaries is November 30-December 7. Pray for those who are taking the gospel across the world! 

You can also give financial support to global missionaries during the holiday season. 100% of your gifts will go to missionaries.

Christmas in COHO

Each year FBC has a booth where we serve hot chocolate to warm people up from the inside out! We will be serving at Gene L. Voyles Park in Hudson Oaks. 

We would love to have you for any of our one-hour shifts between 3-9pm.

A Night in Bethlehem
(4:30-6pm)

A Night in Bethlehem is a unique, immersive experience for preschoolers, children, and their families that will help them see what it was like to be in the town of Bethlehem when Jesus was born! This year A Night in Bethlehem is going to be bigger and better than ever! We are going to be having it in conjunction with the Christmas on the Square event, so there will be a lot more families coming through! There are several ways you can help this event be a huge success!

Preteen Christmas Party
(6-7:30pm)

Hey preteens (5th-6th graders), join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate the season together! We'll kick things off with a snack-style dinner and a hilarious White Elephant Ornament Gift Exchange (bring a wrapped ornament, $10 limit—funny or festive, it’s up to you!). Next, we’ll load up with cookies and hot chocolate, then head out for an adventure to the magical Holiday in the Park – Pathway of Lights, where twinkling lights and Christmas spirit await!

December 10
Students MDWK Christmas Party
 (6-8pm)

Students in grades 7-12, wear your ugliest sweater, bring a silly gift to exchange (under $15), and come for a night of fun and fellowship. 

Food and snacks will be served.

Top ugly sweaters get a fun gift! 

Invite your friends to the festivities. This party is always a highlight of the Christmas season! There is no registration, simply join us.

Ladies’ Ornament Exchange (6-8pm)

All ladies are invited to join in as we gather for a whole night of fun! We will have dinner and an ornament exchange (please bring a wrapped ornament or decoration). 

As a bonus, we have a candy and dessert competition, so break out those award winning recipes!

December 13
COH Christmas Basket Giveaway (10am-2pm)

Center of Hope is hosting a drive thru event to give out Christmas Baskets. FBC will have a booth and we are looking for some awesome people to help us bring joy to all who come! We are asking people to serve 2 hour shifts (10am-12pm, 12-2pm). IMPORTANT NOTE:
*All volunteers must be in high school or older.*

Singles Over Sixty Banquet
(12-2pm)

This annual event is held by the FBC Deacon Ministry to honor all of our “single over sixty” adults. Watch for your invitation and RSVP below.

We can't wait to enjoy a delicious meal with you!

Our preschool, kids, and preteens will have a birthday party for Jesus during their Sunday morning connect times.

Christmas Eve
Candlelight Service
(4 & 5:30pm)

Families are invited to join us for a very special time of worship for all ages as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. 

We will have flameless “candles” (glow sticks) available for the kids.

Christmas Eve Services  

Christmas Eve Services  

We are excited for our upcoming Christmas Eve services here at FBC Weatherford! We have two identical services on December 24th at 4:00pm and 5:30pm. These are family-friendly services, so bring everyone and join in on an incredible time together as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! We will sing Christmas carols and hymns together, read the story of Jesus' birth, and light the candles as we wrap-up our services.  

We will have multiple options for family pictures not only by our beautiful Christmas tree in the Worship Center, but also in our gym. There will be different photo booths set up throughout the gym, along with drinks and cookies while you wait!
